Kate Freeman-Cook is a printmaker living and working in Brooklyn, New York. She recently graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Printmaking and has training in lithography, relief, intaglio, silkscreen, bookbinding, slip casting, woodworking, and letterpress. She has exhibited work in the 2025 Will Barnet National Arts Club Student Show, the Oceanside Museum of Art, and various group exhibitions at Pratt Institute. Kate had the privilege of being selected as a Pratt Institute Editions Fellow in 2024, where she helped fabricate Dread Scott’s “The Book of Nelson”. In addition, assisting and printing alongside Ruth Lingen as an intern at Line Press Limited has given Kate exciting insights into artist collaborations, with artists including Jim Dine, Caleb Freese, Olympe Racana-Weiler, and Reginald Dwayne Betts. With a love for stone lithography and community-based printmaking, Kate is continuing to grow her practice while pursuing future collaborations within the world of print.
